Energy: The Energy Saver control panel offers several settings that determine power levels for your PowerBook. Your portable knows when it’s plugged in, and runs accordingly. When on battery power, it will dim the screen and use other components sparingly. If you change this setting to maximize performance, your battery will drain more quickly.

FUJITSU Lifebook NH751 battery info:

Battery Type:  Li-ion
Voltage:  14.8V
Capacity: 5200mAh / 8Cell
Weight:  379g
Property: FUJITSU Replacement Battery
Color: Black

Tips:

Click the Power Meter tab, and check that the battery is at 100%.
Now remove the AC adaptor plug and switch off the AC adaptor power at the mains supply.
Time how long the system remains powered. You can use a utility to log the time to the hard disk at regular intervals (see Other Useful Articles below).
After the system has switched itself off (usually by a self-controlled Shutdown), connect the AC adaptor again and switch on the power to recharge the battery.
Leave for eight hours to fully recharge.
Note: If the step 8 above took several hours, then the battery required calibration, and this procedure should have fixed the problem.

Test;
Water permeation, or loss of electrolyte, is a concern with sealed lead acid batteries, and overcharging contributes to this condition. While flooded systems accept water, a fill-up is not possible with VRLA. Adding water has been tried, but this does not offer a reliable fix. Experimenting with watering turns the VRLA into unreliable battery that needs high maintenance.
